Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) holds entrance exam for offering admission to BTech and MTech programs.The programmes are offered by the institute. It is a national-level examination that serves as a common entrance test for all institutes and universities under the SRM Group. The Institute is ranked 28 in NIRF 2023 ranking and placement for the engineering graduates have been around 80 percent as its data tells.

JEE Main score- these candidates are not required to appear for SRMJEEE 2025 entrance exam
The registration process starts in March 2025
SRM has institutes in following cities
Kattankulathur, Ramapuram,
NCR – Ghaziabad,
Ramapuram Part – Vadapalani,
Amravati, Haryana, and Sikkim as well as SRM University campuses in Sonepat, Haryana, and Andhra Pradesh.
The couselling is held for admission to the courses.SRMJCCA conducts joint counselling sessions for SRMIST (across all campuses) to admit students into various programs.

SRMJEEE 2025 Mode of Entrance Exam
The entrance examination is conducted through Remote Proctored Online Mode, which allows candidates to take the exam from any location of their choice.
The duration of the examination is 2 hours and 30 minutes, and the question format consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
For UG admissions, there are a total of 125 questions, while for PG admissions, there are 100 questions.
The maximum marks for UG are 125, and for PG, it is 100. Each correct answer carries 1 mark, and there is no negative marking for wrong answers.
It is important to note that SRMIST will not take any responsibility for issues such as poor internet connectivity, power cuts, or faulty personal computers of the candidates. In such situations, no re-examination will be conducted, and candidates are required to take the subsequent phase of the examination available to them. Additionally, mobile phones and tablets are strictly prohibited during the SRMJEEE exam. Students are requested to use only desktop or laptop computers for the examination.

You should be an Indian
Have passed 10+2 examination
You have PCM/PCB
Percentage required-You have secured 50% marks in your 10+2 in science subject, it is 60 percent for Andhra Pradesh
NIOS candidates
Candidates who have studied 12th standard from NIOS will be eligible to apply. However, if they have also done their 10th standard from NIOS, then they will not be eligible to apply for SRMJEEE 2024
