COEP Pune 2024 Admission in MTech and MPlan- The registration process has started from today for admission into MTEch and Mplan courses in COEP pune. The registration will conclude in first week of july 2024. The admission in  Mtech courses will be offered through GATE Score and for non gate and non sponosored candidates an entrance exam will be conducted for both MTech and MPlan courses

Qualification for MTech

The Candidate should be an Indian National;

2. Passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology or Pharmacy from All India Council for Technical Education or Central

or State Government approved institutions or equivalent, with at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories, economically weaker section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State);

3. Passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant course of Engineering and Technology as specified in the eligibility criteria for admission to a Post Graduate Degree course of COEP Technological University for which admission is being sought

4. Obtained Qualified score in Graduates Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology and valid for the current academic year;  

OR Obtained non-Qualified marks in Graduates Aptitude Test in Engineering(GATE) conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology for the current academic year; OR

For sponsored candidates, minimum of two years(730 days from the declaration of under graduation result) of full-time work experience in a registered firm/ company/ industry/ educational and/or research institute/any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in therelevant field in which admission is being sought;

 5. GATE Qualified Candidates shall have preference over the not qualified Candidates.

6. “Non-GATE Non-Sponsored” means candidates neither appeared for GATE examination, nor have any work experience and sponsorship letter.

7. The candidates applied in “Non-GATE_Non Sponsored” category shall be eligible only in CAP Round IV. These candidates must appear for “University Common Entrance Test” conducted by the university as per the scheduled declared. The details of the Entrance Test will be published on the university website.

COEP Pune 2024 Admission in MTech and MPlan

Eligibility for M.Plan

The candidate should be an IndianNational; 4. Passed Bachelor Degree in Planning/ Architecture/ Civil Engineering

OR

Passed Master Degree of Geography/ Economics/Social Sciences or equivalent Degree with at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward Class categories,  Economically weaker section and persons with disability category belonging to Maharashtra State only)

Obtained nonzero positive score in common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) conducted by Indian Institute of Technology.

OR

Obtained qualified score in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in Civil Engineering/Architecture and Planning conducted Indian Institute of Technology and valid for the current academic year (2024-25) or Obtained Non zero positive marks in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in Civil Engineering /Architecture and Planning conducted by Indian Institute of Technology for the current academic year 2024. However, preference shall be given to CEED appeared candidate over the GATE appeared candidate. GATE or CEED qualified candidates shall have preference over the non-qualified Candidats

For sponsored candidate’s minimum of two years full-time work experience in registered firm or company or industry or educational or research institute of any government department/ government autonomous organization in the relevant field in with admission is being sought.

“Non-GATE and Non-Sponsored” means candidates neither appeared for GATE examination, nor have any work experience and sponsorship letter.

The candidates applied in “Non-GATE and Non-Sponsored” category shall be eligible only in CAP Round IV. These candidates must appear for “University Common Entrance Test” conducted by the university as per the scheduled declared. Application Fee

Rs.1000 for General Category Candidates from Maharashtra State, All India (including Union Territory of Jammu And Kashmir and Union Territory of Ladakh Migrant Candidates) & children of Indian workers in Gulf countries (CIWGC).

Rs. 800/- Candidates of Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DTNT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT (D), OBC, SBC, EWS, SEBC] & Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only

Rs.5000 for CIWGC/ NRI/OCI/PIO/FN Candidates
