WB SET 2024 Eligibility Criteria:
- Master’s degree in candidate /Equivalent from Universities/Institutions recognized by UGC eligible for this test.
- With minimum Secured marks 55%. (without rounding off)
- 50% of Age Relaxation for OBC/SC/ST/ PWD/Transgender Category.
WB SET 2024 Exam Pattern:
The WB SET exam is conducted in two papers, with a total of 150 multiple-choice objective-type questions in Paper 1 and Paper 2.

WB SET 2024 Marking Scheme:
- Every question carries two marks.
- No negative markings for incorrect answers.

For Assistant Professors:
- 40% marks aggregate in both papers together for General Category/EWS Candidates.
- 35% marks aggregate in both papers for SC/ ST/OBC (belonging to Non-Creamy Layer)/ PWD and Transgender.

- Fill in your name, phone number, etc. for registration, and register yourself.
- After doing this now, candidates should fill out the online application form with all the personal information required in the form.

- pay the application fee via online payment mode.
- On the completion of all the steps mentioned above, an auto-generated email will be sent to the candidate’s email ID.
