NHB Recruitment for Senior Officer and Deputy Director-The result of Stage I is declared now NTA will hold a Descriptive Test on 10 March. Candidates must note down this date. The duration of the descriptive test is 3 Hours and would be held separately for two positions mentioned as Dy Director and Sr.Horticulture officer The last date to apply is extended to 15 January 2024. There is a way selection process. The first stage is MCQ based test. Those who clear the Stage-I test will be called for the Second Stage test which is a descriptive test. NTA will conduct the test. The candidate must be a Graduate in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Food Technology/Post-harvest Technology/ Agriculture Economics/ Agriculture Engineering /Food Sciences from a recognized University preferably a Master’s Degree in the same field.
AGE LIMIT:- Not exceeding 30 years as of the Closing Date of Online Application.

Each question at Stage I shall have 1 mark each. · There will be no negative marking. · The candidates will be shortlisted for Stage II in the ratio of 1:10 i.e. about 10 times the number of vacancies in each category based on their performance in Stage-I. · If the examination is held in more than one session, the scores across various sessions will be equated following standard practice to adjust for slight differences in the difficulty level of different test batteries used across sessions. · The Total Marks Obtained at Stage II will be used to determine the final Merit
