Military Nursing Officer results were declared on 8 March and 1416 candidates qualified for the interview. The exam was conducted on 14 January 2024. The Examination for Military Nursing Service: Selection for Short Service Commission (SSC) 2023-24 is a National Level Entrance Test for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Military Nursing Service.
The CBT will consist of MCQs based on Nursing, English Language and General Intelligence. The CBT will be in English only. There will be no negative marking.
To prepare for the Military Nursing Service (MNS) exam, it is essential to understand the exam pattern and syllabus. The MNS exam consists of three sections, including General English, General Intelligence, and General Science. It is crucial to have a thorough understanding of the exam pattern and syllabus to prepare effectively. This understanding will help candidates to identify the topics they need to focus on and create a study plan accordingly.
- Mode of Selection:
Written Test-Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be invited to participate in a written test. The written test, worth 100 marks, will consist of multiple-choice questions covering topics such as Nursing, English language, and General Intelligence.

It is important to note that there will be no penalty for incorrect answers. The answer sheets will be evaluated using OMR technology at the IHQ of MoD(Army). The names of the successful candidates will be announced on the army website and NTA website, along with instructions for the interview process. It is the responsibility of each candidate to confirm their result, as this office will not provide individual notifications
(b) Interview and medical examination: Candidates who have been shortlisted in the written test will be called for an interview by their merit. Only those who pass the interview will undergo a Medical Examination, which may take 2-5 days to complete. Each candidate is responsible for arranging their accommodation during this process. Call letters will only be sent to the required number of candidates who are both shortlisted and medically fit correspondence or queries will be entertained, as the decision of the Board for the written test and interview is final.
