Delhi University UG Admission.The admission process for UG courses has started in Delhi University. The admission will be offered on the basis of CUET UG score for regular courses. The CUET UG score is not required in SOL and NCWEB admission.The foreign national is also exempted from CUET UG score. 10% seat is reserved for foreign national.

The University of Delhi, also known as Delhi University or DU is an “Institute of Excellence” by the UGC. Delhi University ranks 13th among the top universities in India by NIRF 2022 ranking. DU has grown into one of the largest universities in India with a total strength of more than 7 lakh students. It has 90 plus colleges along with 86 departments, 23 Centres, 16 faculties, and five other institutes.
The University was established on 1 May 1922 with three colleges St.Stephen, Ramjas and Hindu colleges with only 750 students. DU has 15 large libraries. The University Science Instrument Centre (USIC) houses several sophisticated and high-end research instrument which is accessed by not only teachers, and research scholar, but also by other institutions of neighbouring states.
Delhi University offers over 500 programs, out of which over 200 programs have been considered for NAAC accreditation, and others are being run by colleges that are separately accredited. At present, it offers UG, PG, certificate, Diploma, and PG diploma programs. Apart from regular full-time courses, Delhi University offers distance learning programs from its School of Open Learning (SOL).
Some specific programmes are offered in separate colleges. There are separate admission criteria for some colleges in Universities.
For admissions to St. Stephen’s College and Jesus & Mary Colleges following admission criteria shall apply:
- Unreserved Candidates Admission criteria Only on the basis of merit of CUET Score
- Christian Candidates- 85% weightage to CUET score and 15% weightage to Interviews conducted by the concerned college

The admission into SOL, NCWEB and foreign nationals admission is not done through CUET in UG courses

There is no maximum age restriction
Eligibility
UG-Intermediate from any recognized Board or Institution in India or a foreign country as equivalent to the 10+2 system recognized by the Association of Indian University (AIU).
Gap Year Students can also apply for Under Graduate courses

The University Departments / Centres / Colleges have reserved 10% of seats for admission.
OBC, Non-Creamy Layer, Central List
27% of seats are reserved for Candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC – Non-Creamy Layer, Central List).
SC/ST
22.5% of the total number of seats is reserved for Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (15% for Scheduled Castes and 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes, interchangeable if necessary).

PwBD students who are getting fellowships / financial assistance shall be exempted from payment of fees/charges/mess fees subject to the condition mentioned below-:

Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) and Sports Quota
Candidates desirous of taking admission under the supernumerary quota for ECA and/or Sports must appear in CUET.
For admissions to ECA and Sports supernumerary seats, a weightage of 25% will be given to the CUET score and 75% to certificates/trials/performances.
Nomination of Seats for Sikkimese Students
Sikkimese students nominated by the Govt. of Sikkim shall be considered for admission by the University in Colleges where hostel facilities are available
