The Common Entrance Test (CET) is an eligibility exam that measures undergraduate students’ readiness to take a variety of medical, scientific, and engineering courses at the college level. The CET is a state-level exam that is conducted annually for admission to various undergraduate courses, including engineering, pharmacy, and agriculture. The CET exam consists of multiple-choice objective-type questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics]. The exam is conducted in a computer-based format and is of 3 hours duration. The CET exam pattern for 2023 will include 150 MCQs, with 50 questions for each section, and the total marks will be 200. The marking scheme of the CET exam is 2 marks for each correct mathematics question and 1 mark for each correct physics and chemistry question.

The CET exam is of significant importance for college admissions, as it is a gateway for entry into various professional colleges in the country.
