IIT JAM: This exam is conducted at an all-India level. It is conducted by IITs. By applying for this exam students can enrol in an MSc Physics degree course, a dual degree such as MSc-PhD or an integrated course.

TIFR GS: This is a national-level entrance test. It is conducted by the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research. Students who have a degree in BSc physics are eligible to appear for this exam and take admission to MSc Physics.

JEST: Joint Entrance Screening Test or JEST is conducted by the Science and Engineering Research Board. With a good score on the JEST exam, you can get enrolled in integrated courses and PhD courses also.
