Biological Techniques (DNA/protein based): Fundamental principles and instrumentationof the systems; measurement techniques and result interpretations of Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), Real-time Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) technique; Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA); Radioimmunoassay (RIA). Use of PCR for detection of genetically-modified organisms (GMO);meat and fish speciation and other applications in analysis of food adulteration.
